That's what we follow
We base our planning on the 'EYFS' (Early Years Foundation Stage) Curriculum - the statutory framework for children from birth to 5 years. We plan our activities such that the children are able to gain experience around the curriculum or framework established to develop language and communication, problem solving, knowledge and understanding of the world, physical, personal, social and creative skills. At Kids Play School, we ensure that there are sufficient age appropriate play equipment and resources which support children's learning and development to enable them attain their maximum potential.
All children are warmly welcome, treated with respect and are included in the multi-cultural setting regardless of their culture, race, language, gender and/or limitations. Any child enrolled at KPS will benefit from the extensive support provided by numerous agencies in collaboration with us.
We welcome parents and carers of all registered children to the setting. Our pre-school also encourages the parents and carers to participate and bring forward ideas that will positively impact on their child's learning and progress. Your participation helps to build strong partnership between you and our pre-school.
The curriculum is displayed on the notice board. Policies and procedures are kept on the reception desk of the school. Monthly Newsletters, brochures (leaflets) would be displayed and distributed to keep parents and carers informed of activities and events designed to keep you and our special gems fully occupied.
Our programs are based on the fact that the most important years of a child's brain development and learning patterns occur from infancy to age five. Our curriculum and methodology take advantage of the windows of opportunity in these years to give your child the best start toward a lifetime of learning.
